Estes Park Citizenship Project
This "Learn with the League" program will feature The Citizenship Project. This project is dedicated to assisting qualified local individuals with realizing their dream of becoming American citizens. Eight local nonprofits are involved in this project. Our League is one of them. We will have a panel discussion featuring:
Sue Yowell, ExecutiveDirector of The Estes Park Learning
Place
Rut Miller, Executive Director of EVICS Family Resource Center,
Autumn Nelson, Immigration Attorney
Tram Tran & Jessica Campagnola, two new citizens.
All are welcome. No registration necessary.
LWV-EP Annual Business Meeting
Immediately following The Citizenship Project program will be have a short break. Our Annual Business meeting will start at 11 AM. We will need 28 members either physically present or by proxy to obtain a quorum. Please either send in your proxy vote or plan to attend. Following a short meeting we will review our year with a slide presentation. Also, we want to collect your suggestions for program ideas for next year.
